Sheila & Bill's Place is dedicated to both their families.

Sheila Elizabeth (Callander/Edwards) Craig is originally from
Montrose, Angus, Scotland located on the North Sea between
Dundee and Aberdeen, Scotland.

Sheila came to the United States in 1964 settling in Davenport,
Iowa.  Sheila has one daughter, Rachel Elizabeth (Edwards/Vique)
Pace and a grand-daughter Samantha Marie Vique.

Sheila retired in 2007.

Bill Craig is originally from Wilmington, Delaware.  He attended William Penn High School
and was ordered to Active Duty in February 1959 and retired from Active Duty in
September 1986.

His Duty Stations included:

RTC Great Lakes, Illinois;  NAVCOMMTRACOM Imperial Beach, California;  
NAVCOMMFAC Port Lyautey, Kentria, Morocco; NAVSECGRUACT Edzell, Scotland (2
Tours); NAVSECGRUACTY Lajes, Azores;  NAVCOMSTAWASH, Cheltenham, Maryland;  
Uss Belmont (AGTR-4);  NCTC Pensacola, Florida;  ADCOP (Associated Degree
Completion Program) at Pensacola Junior College;  NAVSECGRUACTY Misawa, Japan
(2 Tours);  NAVSECGRUACTY (NSA/CSS) Ft. Meade, Maryland (2 tours).  Bill retired from
the U.S. Navy in September 1986.

Bill was married to Patricia Grace (Callander) (deceased) and has four children.  William
T. Craig (3 children);  Kenneth G. Craig truck driver living in Michigan;  John F. Craig (2
children) living in Utah and Jacqueline P. Epps (3 children) living in Virginia Beach, VA.

Bill moved to Davenport, Iowa in October 1989.

Sheila and Bill were married on May 25, 1990.

They were both very active in the Scottish American Society of the Quad Cities.  Both
have held the office of President/Vice President and Membership chairperson.  Bill held
the office of Treasurer.  He also published the monthly Newsletter, help plan the Annual
burns Supper, and set-up the Beltane.

They both gave up offices and responsibilities and participate as members.

Bill retired in 2002 and has gotten back into photography.  He spends most week days
down on Credit Island Park or along South Concord Street and behind the old Dock
Restaurant photographing Birds (Eagles, Great Blue Herons, Great Egret, Hawks and
other).
