Sheila & Bill's Place is dedicated to both their families.
Sheila Elizabeth (Callander/Edwards) Craig is originally from
Montrose, Angus, Scotland located on the North Sea between
Dundee and Aberdeen, Scotland.
Sheila came to the United States in 1964 settling in Davenport,
Iowa. Sheila has one daughter, Rachel Elizabeth (Edwards/Vique)
Pace and a grand-daughter Samantha Marie Vique.
Sheila is recently retired.

Bill was borned in Wilmington, Delaware. He graduated from William Penn High School,
New Castle, Delaware. Bill entered the U. S. Navy where he spent 28 years serving in:
Morocco; Scotland (2 tours); Washington D.C. - Cheltenham, Md.; NTTC Pensacola,
Florida; ADCOP - Pensacola Junior College; Misawa, Japan (2 tours); NSA/CSS Fort
Meade, Maryland (2 tours). Bill retired from the U.S. Navy in September 1986.
Bill was married to Patricia Grace (Callander) (deceased) and has four children. William
T. Craig (3 children); Kenneth G. Craig truck driver living in Muscatine, Iowa; John F.
Craig (3 children) living in Utah and Jacqueline P. Epps (3 children) living in Virginia
Beach, VA.
Bill moved to Davenport, Iowa in October 1989.
Both Sheila & Bill are very active in the Scottish American Society of the Quad-Cites.
Sheila has served two terms as President, one term as Vice President and as the
Membership Chairperson. Bill served one term as Vice President and President. Several
years as Society Treasurer. Membership Chairperson. He was the Burns Dinner
Coordinator for more than 10 years and has also arranged the Christmas Party for about
the same time. He also has arranged the Tartan Day get-to-gether and set-up the Beltane.
They both gave up offices and responsibilities and will participate as members.
Bill retired in 2002 and has gotten back into photography. He spends most week days
down on Credit Island Park or along South Concord Street and behind the old Dock
Restaurant photographing Birds (Eagles, Great Blue Herons, Great Egret,Hawks and
other).
